Forget what you’ve experienced before at indoor play centres. Following extensive research throughout the UK we genuinely believe that the way Hickory Dickory’s Playhouse has been put together represents a significant raising of the standard of this type of family entertainment centre.
We have two playhouses, the first of which is a 15,000 sq ft site located in Kings Heath – south central Birmingham. This is understood to be the biggest play and party centre of its kind in the Birmingham area and one of the biggest in the UK. Our second Playhouse (of approx 12,000 sq ft) is located in Kingsway – south west of Derby city centre in the Mackworth/Mickleover area.

- Rules of entry and play apply to all visitors and are enforced by our trained staff. Please make sure you read these when you visit.

CLOCK CAFE
Our aim is to provide modern café style high quality (but not too fussy as simple is often best!) food and beverages for adults and children.
Come and relax in our Clock Café and taste our fantastic coffee. We serve cappuccino, latte, expresso and regular coffees all with a wonderful taste and aroma that only a Fraccino group two back bar coffee machine delivers – coffee supplied by Torelli or Kenco. Alternatively you may prefer hot chocolate or a variety of teas. Add to this a delicious large wedge of hand made cake, muffins, cookies etc.
Enjoy a variety of delicious snacks or hearty home cooked meals, including a selection of salads especially for the summer.
We also have a great children’s menu that will tempt your children to eat up – and be good for them. Let your child chose their own lunch with our wonderful boxes – they can chose 5 items (as well as including in this choice a few goodies that the children will like, we have added some tempting healthier options such as dried and fresh fruit that parents will like!).
We are sure you will enjoy what the Clock Café has to offer and we deliberately aim to keep our prices reasonable (for example we do great value jugs of squash, simple sandwiches and fruit) and a good selection so while you’re with us if you and children require food and refreshments you are well served.
